Of course you can also get an "image" snapshot. it allows us to capture the *text* out of a scrolling window (such as the multi-column Focus List ). This is an essential feature for OT users. Apparently it was eating up a lot of their resources to keep it functioning, idiosyncratic tho that functioning admittedly was.
I just found out from Techsmith that with version 12 of Snagit, they have made a corporate decision to permanently remove Text Capture capabilities from the tool.
